It is Time to Act

The initiatives undertaken by the countries in the region to solve these problems have been numerous and important. However, the review of results suggests that what has been done to date is clearly insufficient. The delay in education reform policy, as suggested in 2000, results in a loss of a valuable opportunity and in a disadvantage in the demands of international context. We emphasize that modern and updated education systems, with the ability to respond to the needs and social expectations are the global social priorities.
