Since its creation in 1995, the Program for Education Reform Promotion in Latin America and the Caribbean (Programa de Promoción de la Reforma Educativa en América Latina y el Caribe (PREAL) has proposed to contribute to the improvement of quality and equity in education through the enhancement of education policies, the identification and dissemination of good practices and and the monitoring of education progress in the region.
