The skills development global landscape has evolved drastically over the past year. The pandemic has highlighted the need for new skills and a more technologically savvy workforce.

Understanding the labor demands of the post-pandemic world and investing in the promotion of these skills will be the first steps to powering this workforce transformation. The objective of this webinar is to answer the following key questions:

  • How is the demand for certain skills changing in the post-pandemic labor market?
  • How are workforce development programs in Latin America adapting and evolving to adjust to the post-pandemic demands?
  • What innovative training pathways exist to develop new, high-demand skills?

With a focus on the Latin American and Caribbean region, this webinar will include a brief presentation of the findings of Coursera’s latest Global Skills Report, which explores new trends in the labor market. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion on the changes that can be expected in skills development and training pathways. The panel will include representatives from leader workforce development and training institutions, private sector corporations, and country representatives.
