The United States must embrace a policy of persistent high-level engagement. “I understand that Latin America cannot be our top priority, but it needs to be on the list.”
A Policy for a Post-American Latin America
Hosting the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles from June 6 to June 10 was supposed to be a golden opportunity for US President Joe Biden to forge closer ties with Latin America and the Caribbean.
