Over the past century, Argentina transformed from one of the richest countries in the world to one mired in financial crisis, triple-digit inflation, rising poverty, and heightened political fragmentation. Argentines cast their ballots in November 2023 to elect a new government. Javier Milei from La Libertad Avanza ran on a platform promising economic and political reforms.

To share insights on the policy objectives of the new administration, founding member of La Libertad Avanza and Legislator of the city of Buenos Aires, Ramiro Marra, joins the Inter-American Dialogue and the International Republican Institute on April 4 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM EDT.
