Joseph Fidanque III is the chairman and founder of Iterum, a BPO/call center outsourcer, with operations in Panama, Jamaica, and Colombia, servicing companies in the United States. Fidanque is a member of the Board of Directors of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) in Panama and acts on the boards of several other major local companies. Additionally, for eight years he was on the board of Copa Airlines, a New York Stock-exchange listed company. He dedicated three years of his life to serving his country and managed the International Airport of Panama, one of the busiest in Latin America, at the behest of the president of Panama. Upon his retirement from acting as CEO of the airport, the president appointed him as chairman of the board of directors of the Superintendence of Banking, the banking regulator in the Republic of Panama, for a nine-year period. 

Fidanque received his BS in economics from Tufts University, in Medford, Massachusetts.
