Samuel Lewis is the former vice president and minister of foreign affairs of Panama. A businessman by trade, Lewis began his career at his family’s company, Empaques de Colon where he eventually became president. He has also worked at various other enterprises, including ELE Group, Northsound Corporation, and Red Crown Corporation. In addition to his business activities, Lewis has also served as special ambassador of Panama from 1994 to 1999, and has also served on the Advisory Committee of the Panama Canal, the National Council of Foreign Affairs, and the Board of Directors of the Panama Canal Authority. Lewis holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from American University.
