Pierre-Marie Boisson

Pierre-Marie Boisson is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SOGESOL, a micro-finance company, a subsidiary of SOGEBANK. Boisson is also the chief economic adviser of the Board of SOGEBANK Board Member of SOGEXPRESS, another subsidiary of SOGEBANK in the field of remittances, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Foundation SOGEBANK. He has substantial experience in project finance and economic analysis, both nationally and internationally, and he writes frequently on macro-economic and financial issues.

Boisson holds a MPA from Harvard University, an MS in Management (MSM) by Arthur D. Little’s Management Education Institute and a BS in Civil Engineering from the State University of Haiti.

Boisson was an event speaker at the Dialogue.

The panel featured a diverse group of experts, discussing why aid may have failed in Haiti as well as what Haiti and donor countries can do to mitigate future poor performance.
