Michael Kerns joined the Inter-American Dialogue as a program assistant with the Energy Transition & Climate Program in September 2023. Kerns graduated summa cum laude from the University of Virginia’s Frank L. Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. He holds a BA with majors in public policy and history and with minors in Latin American studies and environmental science. Previously, he worked as a language assistant in Madrid, Spain as part of the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program.
