Michael Kerns joined the Inter-American Dialogue as a program assistant with the Energy Transition and Climate Program in September 2023. Kerns graduated summa cum laude from the University of Virginia’s Frank L. Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. He holds a BA with majors in public policy and history and with minors in Latin American studies and environmental science. Previously, he worked as a language assistant in Madrid, Spain as part of the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program.
