Lillian M. Argilagos

Lillian Argilagos is one of the founders and serves as executive vice president of Viamericas Corporation, an international consumer remittance company with operations in the United States, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. She has over 22 years of experience in the retail financial services industry. She serves on the Board of Directors of Viamericas, manages the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment of resources and providing sponsorship for key initiatives to implement the company’s strategic goals. Argilagos works closely with the IT team to ensure the services IT provides align efficiently with the needs of the business.
Argilagos also serves as president of Viamistad, a non-profit organization through which the company centralizes its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Prior to joining Viamericas, Argilagos worked for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the Inter-American Dialogue, as executive director of the Group of Fifty, a non-profit initiative that promotes economic and social progress in the Western Hemisphere. She began her career as a commercial litigator.
Argilagos received her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctorate at Boston College.
