Leda Muñoz is the director of the Omar Dengo Foundation, where she coordinates an interdisciplinary group of professionals in the service of capacity building and promoting quality education for all people. Previously, Muñoz was the vice-rector of social action at the University of Costa Rica (1996-2004), served as coordinator of the State of the Nation report on sustainable development (2006-2009), and general coordinator of the V State of the Rights of Children and Adolescents in Costa Rica report (2000-2006). 

Muñoz has a PhD in human nutrition from the University of California and a post-doctorate in nutritional epidemiology from Cornell University. 

Muñoz is an ambassador of connectivity for educational purposes at the Dialogue.
