Julie Evans is the environmental and social manager for the Americas region at RINA Consulting. She is a senior level professional with over fifteen years of experience providing varied environmental consultancy services to public and private clients in the mining, transportation, energy and construction sectors, including project compliance with International Finance Corporation Performance Standards.

Her international and national portfolio includes projects of varying scope, size, and complexity including the development of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), sustainability plans, managing environmental compliance during construction, supervising watershed restoration projects, advising on national and international best practices, and overseeing compliance with local, state, national and international environmental laws. She has particular expertise in international development projects and, in all her endeavors, a proven track record of responding to client needs and site complexities throughout the life cycle of her projects.

Evans is a registered professional engineer with a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. She also has served as adjunct civil engineering faculty at the UPC-Laureate International University in Lima, Peru.
