Dante Schulz is a Spring 2022 research intern with the Dialogue’s Asia & Latin America program. He is a senior at The George Washington University studying international affairs and history with a focus on Asia. He is interested in studying the implications of China’s increasing presence in the economic, political, and security affairs of Latin America. Previously, Schulz worked as a research assistant at the Caspian Policy Center, where he focused on analyzing China’s growing influence in Central Asia and the South Caucasus. Schulz also currently serves as the president of the Elliott School for International Affairs’ only gender-inclusive honor society.
