Alberto Vásquez is the co-director of the Center for Inclusive Policy (CIP). Additionally, Vásquez is the President of Sociedad y Discapacidad (SODIS) and a board member of the Disability Rights Fund (DRF) and the Bank Information Center (BIC). Vásquez is also a member of the Latin American Network of Psychosocial Diversity.

Vásquez has worked as a consultant on disability rights and mental health law for different United Nations agencies, including UNICEF, the World Health Organization, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), and the Office of the Secretary-General. In Peru, Vásquez worked as Head Advisor of the Congress’ Committee on Social Inclusion and Persons with Disabilities, as well as commissioner at the Disability Unit of the Peruvian Ombudsperson’s Office.

Vásquez holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and an LL.M in International and Comparative Disability Law and Policy from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
