We are pleased to share with you a column written by PREAL Co-director Jeffrey Puryear, on the Alliance for Education Quality. The Alliance—a recent agreement between the federal government and the main teachers’ union in Mexico—aims to reform Mexico’s poorly performing public school system, promote social advancement, and increase international competitiveness.
