Anna (Anya) Prusa is the Slater family fellow and a senior associate at the Brazil Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Before joining the Brazil Institute, Prusa was at the Albright Stonebridge Group, a strategic consulting firm, and the US Department of State’s Office of Brazilian and Southern Cone Affairs. She lived in São Paulo, Brazil for several years and is a specialist in Brazilian public policy and US-Brazil relations.
Prusa holds an MPP from Georgetown University, an MA in Latin American and Hemispheric Studies from the George Washington University, and a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Florida. She has been interviewed and quoted by the Atlantic, ABC News, BBC, Bloomberg, the Financial Times, and the Washington Post, among others.
