Verónica Cabezas is an academic in the Department of Educational Theory and Policy of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile School of Education and Associate Researcher of the Millennium Nucleus in Social Development. She is also a member of the editorial board of the journal Teaching and Teacher Education, a member of the Advisory Board of the Sara Raeir de Rassmuss Foundation, co-founder of the Enseña Chile Foundation, the Elige Educar initiative, and a member of the boards of Fundación Oportunidad, Elige Educar, and Enseña Chile. In the past, Cabezas has worked as a consultant for the United Nations Development Program and the Inter-American Development Bank on program evaluation.   

Cabezas holds a master’s degree in education policy and a doctoral degree in the economics of education from the Teachers College of Columbia University. 

Cabezas was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
