Verona Batiuk is a specialist in early childhood education at the Buenos Aires headquarters of the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI). She has a strong interest in early childhood policies, teaching and curriculum policies, educational equity and quality, and the continuation of teacher training. She has designed and implemented projects aimed towards improving the quality of early childhood education in the contexts of poverty in various provincial educational systems of Argentina through strategic alliances with UNICEF, Fundación Navarro Viola, Fundación Bunge y Born, Asociación Civil Educación para Todos, ARCOR Foundation, and BBVA Foundation – Spain.

Additionally, she was a consultant for the National Pedagogical University (UNIPE), a consultant for the National Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, a project coordinator for the CIPPEC Education Program, and a teacher at the University of Buenos Aires, the National University of San Martín and from the University of the Social Museum. Her extensive experience has allowed her to publish the book The educational opportunities at the initial level in Argentina. Contributions to improve teaching, co-authored with Julia Coria and edited by UNICEF – OEI. She has also written chapters in other books, articles, and reports.

Batiuk received a degree in education from the University of Buenos Aires, specialized, and received a master’s degree in education with a concentration in educational management from the University of San Andrés. She also received a doctoral degree from the University of Salamanca.

Batiuk was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
