Shelly Shetty is co-head of Latin American Sovereigns at Fitch Ratings in New York. She has spent nearly twenty years at Fitch Ratings, conducting credit analysis and economic research in emerging markets like Latin America. Prior to her tenure at Fitch, Shetty was assistant vice president for the sovereign group at Duff & Phelps, focusing on states in Central Europe, Africa, and Asia. Shetty obtained two master’s degrees in economics and international finance at the Delhi University and Columbia University respectively.
