Sergio Guzmán is the director and co-founder of Colombia Risk Analysis, where he provides commercial, security and political risk analysis for the Andean Region. Previously he worked at Control Risks, focusing on Bolivia, Colombia, and Suriname. Guzmán also teaches a course on political risk analysis at the Externado University of Colombia.
Guzmán received his MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS in International Economics and International Relations and his BA from George Washington University.
Guzmán is a frequent commentator for the Latin America Advisor.
