Paula Henao is the director of the International Relations Office at the Instituto Colombiano de Crédito Educativo y Estudios Técnicos en el Exterior (ICETEX). She previously served as a manager at the Friends of Fullbright Foundation. Within the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Colombia, from 2016 to 2017, she worked both as the director of the International Office and as a leader in the Nexo Global program.
Henao was the executive director of the Challenge Your Knowledge university network in Colombia in 2014 and 2015. She also served as the internationalization advisor at Universidad de Caldas and as the coordinator at Red Colombiana de Internacionalización.
Henao has a degree in industrial engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and an MBA in from the Universidad Autonoma de Manizales.
