Pamela Troconis joined the Inter-American Dialogue in 2021 as an intern for the Peter D. Bell Rule of Law Program. Pamela is currently pursuing a degree in International Relations with a concentration in Latin American Regional Studies and a minor in French at the Boston University Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, with expected graduation in May 2022. Before joining the Dialogue, Pamela completed a research internship at the Boston University Global Denuclearization Initiative and worked as a staff writer for Boston University’s International Relations undergraduate journal, the IR Review. Raised in Venezuela, Pamela has also lived in the United States and is fluent in English and Spanish, with professional proficiency in French.
On September 30, 2021, the Inter-American Dialogue co-hosted the online event “A Conversation with Feliciano Reyna on Negotiations to Resolve the Crisis in Venezuela” in collaboration with the Institute for Policy Studies, the Washington Office on Latin America, and the Latin America Working Group.
