Pamela Gidi Masías became undersecretary of telecommunications of Chile on March 11, 2018.

Gidi received her degree as a commercial engineer from the Catholic University of Chile, and she holds an MBA from the University of California Los Angeles and from the London Business School. Before becoming subsecretary of communications, she worked for eight years at DirecTV Latin America, rising to become the vice president for the region, based out of New York. She was then promoted to vice president of AT&T, where she was in charge of digital and commercial strategy for nine countries in Latin America.

She has 25 years of work experience in both the Americas and in Europe, holding executive positions in multinational companies like Unilever, Hasbro, Ford Motor Company, J.C. Penny Company, and The Walt Disney Company.
