Natalia Saltalamacchia is professor at the Department of International Relations of the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where her research focuses on topics of foreign policy, human rights, and international relations. She was Director of the Undergraduate Program of International Relations, as well as of the Center for Inter-American Studies and Programs (Centro de Estudios y Programas Interamericanos, CEPI).

From 2015 to 2018 she served as General Director of the Matías Romero Institute, the Mexican diplomatic academy. She received her undergraduate degree in International Relations from ITAM, her M.A. in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University and her Ph.D. in Latin American Studies from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Her research focuses on international human rights institutions, with particular reference to the Inter-American Human Rights System. 

Saltalamacchia was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
