Natalia Saltalamacchia is a professor at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM, by its acronym in Spanish), where her research focuses on topics of foreign policy, human rights, and international relations. She is currently on leave and serving as general director of the Matías Romero Institute, the diplomatic academy of the Mexican ministry of foreign affairs. At ITAM, Saltalamacchia previously served as the director of the undergraduate program in international relations and as the director of the Center for Inter-American Studies and Programs. She received her undergraduate degree from ITAM, her Master’s in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and her PhD in Latin American Studies from Complutense University of Madrid.
