Marina López Leavy is a consultant for the Education Program at the Inter-American Dialogue. She focuses on education policy and evaluation with ten years of experience in the education sector. López Leavy has collaborated with international organizationsincluding IIEP-UNESCO, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Dialogue-with national think tanks in Argentinathe Centre for the Implementation of Public Policies promoting Equity and Growth (CIPPEC)-, and with local and national government bodies in Argentina. She has worked as a technical advisor at the Evaluation Unit of the Ministry of Education in Buenos Aires City (Argentina) and was appointed National Learning Assessment Coordinator at the Secretariat for Educational Evaluation in the Ministry of Education in Argentina.

López Leavy graduated with First-Class Honours in Educational Sciences at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, specializing in education policies and public administration at Universidad de San Andres. She is completing a Master in Education Policies for Global Development (GLOBED) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and University of Glasgow (United Kingdom), and she was awarded an Erasmus+ Excellence Scholarship by the European Commission.
