Lourdes Flores Nano is a Peruvian politician and lawyer, formerly the head of the National Unity alliance and the Popular Christian Party. Flores was educated at the law school of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She entered politics at age 18, when she joined Popular Christian Party. She was first elected National Deputy  in 1990 and has been a candidate for president and for mayor of Lima. From 2006 to 2009 she served as president of the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola. She is currently the vice president of the Centrist Democrat International, a worldwide organization of Christian democratic parties.

 

Flores Nano joined the Dialogue as a Member in 1995.
