Katherine E. Bliss is a senior fellow at the Global Health Policy Center at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). She is particularly interested in global health issues such as HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, immunization programs, and sanitation. Prior to her current work, Bliss spent her early career teaching at the university level at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and at Georgetown University.
Bliss earned her PhD in History from the University of Chicago and her MA in History from Harvard University.
Bliss is a frequent commentator for the Latin America Advisor.
