Jorge Canahuati Larach is the president of the Inter-American Press Association (IAPA). Canahuati is a Honduran businessman and the first Honduran to assume the position of President of the IAPA. Before his position as president of the IAPA, Canahuati was president of Grupo OPSA. Under his administration, Grupo OPSA increased its presence with the two newspapers with the largest circulation and reach in Honduras and increased the group’s portfolio of print and web publications.
Canahuati was an event speaker at the Inter-American Dialogue.
