Eric Crabtree

Eric Crabtree is a Chief Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. He is the Global Sector Lead for Data Centers at IFC and has financed a variety of projects in the TMT sector (mobile telephony, telecommunications towers, broadband, IT services, and data centers) across emerging markets over the past 16 years. IFC provides both equity and debt financing instruments and has made data center investments in China (GDS), India (NxtGen), South Africa (Teraco), Turkey (Zenium), Russia (IXcellerate) and Ukraine (Denovo). Crabtree holds a B.A. in Economics and Russian from Oberlin College, and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University.
