Mayor Delroy H. Williams was elected as mayor of Kingston on December 15, 2016 with a vision to transform the city into a resilient, liveable and sustainable destination city – “The Pearl of the Antilles” and the “light of the Caribbean Sea.” As mayor, Williams has prioritized raising the city’s international status, making it a top tourist destination as well as a central hub in Latin American and the Caribbean for sports, trade, politics, and culture. His administration has also focused on increasing and improving Kingston’s green spaces, formalizing the city’s street vendor economy, reducing air pollution, and eliminating the stigma around HIV testing.

Williams was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
