Dr. Cristian A. Herrera is a senior health specialist in the Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice of the World Bank. Herrera worked as a primary care doctor in the Municipality of Santiago, Chile before moving to work in public health and policy issues. He is a former health policy analyst at the Organization of Economic Co-operation and Development and former senior health official in the Ministry of Health of Chile. He is a medical doctor from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a graduate diploma in international relations from the University of London, an MBA from Universidad de Chile, and an MSc in public policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
