Beatrice Rangel is the Managing Director for AMLA Consulting, responsible for negotiating and implementing corporate investment strategies and acquisitions in Latin America and the Caribbean. She is also a columnist for the Latin American Herald Tribune.
Her previous positions include president of Codere Argentina and Codere Mexico, director of institutional relations for Codere SA and chief strategist for the Cisneros Group of Companies. Rangel is a former chief of staff and minister of the secretariat under the administration of President Carlos Andrés Pérez in Venezuela, previously having worked in numerous positions in the Venezuelan government.
She is a former Executive Fellow with the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and holds an MA in Development Economics from Boston University and an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
Rangel is a frequent commentator for the Latin America Advisor and a member of the Latin America Advisor’s Board of Advisors.
