Event Summary This event has passed.

This post is also available in: Spanish

Socioemotional abilities are intrinsic dimensions of children and youth’s comprehensive development, and as such should be investigated not only as means to achieve the best academic results possible but also on their own as end goals or desired outcomes of school-based learning. The suspension of in-person classes due to the sanitary emergency has resulted in important consequences in terms of student wellbeing and socioemotional development. Knowing and measuring these impacts is indispensable in order to understand where it is necessary to focus efforts to strengthen socioemotional abilities in students.

In this online event, panelists will share experiences, instruments, and a variety of alternatives for conducting diagnostic assessments at scale in order to assess the socioemotional state of students in the region and understand what recuperation efforts are necessary to support students in a variety of contexts.

This is the second webinar in an event series on evaluation and civil society.
