How do I register for the online conference 

You can register here! You will receive a confirmation email upon registering. 

Is the conference free 

Yes, participation is free and open to the public.  

What time zone are the sessions in 

Eastern Time (ET) – Washington, DC. 

I’ve registered! Now what 

Once you receive a confirmation email, you’re all set. You will receive instructions on how to join the conference platform via email on October 18 as well as on each day of the conference. Make sure to check your spam folders if you do not see this email. 

What is the conference platform? What does it include? 

The conference platform holds all information related to the conference. You will be able to: 

  • Watch the live sessions 
  • View the full agenda 
  • Submit questions for panels’ Q&A sessions 
  • Learn about speakers and read their biographies 
  • Share social media posts 

I’m a member of the press. How can I participate 

You can register as a regular participant here. There is no separate press registration. 

Can I access the conference platform on my mobile device or tablet? 

Yes. The platform is fully compatible with both mobile devices and desktop computers.

I cannot access the conference platform. Can I watch the sessions elsewhere?  

Yes. The conference will be streamed on the Dialogue’s social media pages in English (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook) and on CAF’s social media pages in Spanish and Portuguese (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook). 
 
The event can also be followed on Twitter at #DialogoCAF2021, @The_Dialogue, @AgendaCAF, and @OAS_Official. 

What language will the conference be in 

The conference will be available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. You can change the language within the conference platform.  

How do I submit questions during a panel’s Q&A session 

Once you are in the conference platform, there is a box at the bottom of your screen that says “Submit questions for Q&A here”. Simply type and submit your question in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. We recommend including your name so it can be announced live during the session.
