FORMER PRESIDENT MICHELLE BACHELET TO CO-CHAIR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Washington, DC - Former Chilean President Michelle Bachelet has joined the Dialogue’s Board of Directors and will serve as its Latin American Co-Chair. Bachelet served as president from 2006 to 2010 and achieved important advances in women’s equity and child health and education. SENIOR ASSOCIATE DANIEL ERIKSON JOINS STATE DEPARTMENT

Washington, DC - The Dialogue is pleased to announce that senior associate Daniel P. Erikson has been appointed senior advisor for Western Hemisphere affairs at the U.S. Department of State. A CHANGE IN LEADERSHIP AT THE DIALOGUE

Washington, DC - The Dialogue's Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Michael Shifter as the organization's president. Shiter has served as the Dialogue's vice-president for the past five years and will replace Peter Hakim, the organization's president since 1993, effective April 1, 2010. In recognition of his outstanding service, Hakim was named president emeritus. MORE
