US Secretary of State John Kerry to Deliver First Speech on Latin America Since Taking Office

US Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver remarks on Monday, November 18th at an event co-organized by the Dialogue and the Organization of American States 

Washington, DC – US Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver remarks on Monday, November 18th at an event co-organized by the Inter-American Dialogue and the Organization of American States. The event will take place in the main building of the OAS (17th St. & Constitution Avenue, NW) at 11:00 a.m. The occasion of his speech, “United States and Latin America: The Power of Partnership,” will mark the first time since his appointment that Secretary Kerry speaks in the United States on US policy towards the region.

For security reasons press should arrive by 10:00 a.m. through the C Street entrance to the building. An RSVP is required and press must be prepared to present an invitation or Department of State, Department of Defense, US Congress, or Foreign Press credentials.
