EUROPE AND LATIN AMERICA
The Dialogue works in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Ibero-American Summit (SEGIB) and the Real Instituto Elcano, to organize an annual conference that brings together a group of influential, high-level public and private leaders from Europe, Latin America, and the United States to discuss some of key challenges facing the trilateral relationship. ANNUAL CAF CONFERENCE
Every September, the Andean Development Corporation (CAF), the Inter-American Dialogue and the Organization of American States (OAS) sponsor a conference for Washington officials and opinion leaders on hemispheric affairs. Over two days of discussions, over 400 US and Latin American government officials; international economists; lawmakers, leading policy analysts, and journalists; and corporate and financial leaders, engage in deep discussions on a wide range of salient issues. The aim of this sustained collaboration is to demonstrate the importance of global economic and political relations with Latin America, and to provide a detailed review of hemispheric economic affairs.
