Stanley Motta is president of Motta International and chair of Copa Holdings, ASSA Group, and Bahia Investments. Over the past three decades, Motta has expanded his companies throughout Latin America, emphasizing the need for corporate social responsibility. He is chair of Sumarse, an organization dedicated to the promotion of CSR;  a trustee of ANCON, a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving biodiversity; and a trustee of the Central America Leadership Initiative (CALI). Motta is member of the Advisory Board of the EGADE Business School at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education and of the IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. He previously served as chair of the Regional Interoceanic Authority, the Panamanian government entity that received and managed the Panama Canal assets as a result of the Torrijos-Carter Treaty between the United States and Panama. Motta completed his undergraduate studies at Tulane University.
