Brian O’Neill is vice chair of Lazard International. Previously, he was US deputy assistant secretary of the treasury. O’Neill has been a member of the Inter-American Dialogue since 2010 and sits on the Board of Directors.

O’Neill has extensive experience working with governments, financial institutions, and corporate clients globally. He spent 30 years at JP Morgan Chase & Co., where he was managing director and head of investment banking for Latin America.

At Lazard, O’Neill works closely with Signatura Lazard in Brazil and MBA Lazard in Central and South America, as well as with its strategic alliance Alfaro, Davila y Rios S.C. (ADR) in Mexico.

O’Neill is a member of the Advisory Committee of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University, a director of the Americas Society, and a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

O’Neill holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego and a master’s degree from the American Graduate School of International Management.
