Anna Eliasson Schamis is a senior advisor for development and external relations to the president of the Inter-American Dialogue. She is also a principle of the ACET Group, which she co-founded in 2013.

Previously, Eliasson served for more than five years as vice president of development and external relations at the Atlantic Council, where she was responsible for the Council’s entire fundraising, thought leadership, and event management operations. During her time at the Council, Eliasson created engagement platforms and programs for Fortune 500 companies and dramatically grew the quantity and quality of the Council’s corporate partnerships. She also oversaw the $25 million fundraising campaign for the creation of the Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security.

Eliasson holds an AB from Harvard University and an MA and MPhil in political science from Columbia University. She was a Fellow in Cornell University’s Peace Studies Program and a research associate at the Institute for European Studies.
