Afro-Colombian Communities and the Post-Conflict

Event Summary This event has passed.

With a peace accord on the horizon in Colombia, the country begins to turn its attention to post-conflict development. This process has a particular importance for Afro-Colombian communities, which have been deeply affected by the armed conflict. Departmental and municipal governments are working to lay the groundwork for new economic development, improved security, and access to social programs. But the challenges are daunting and there is still much work to be done.
